The holy Ganges River is believed to emanate from one of these strands. Buddhist cosmography identifies Kailash with the mighty Mt. Sumern, the central peck of the world. Jains identify this holy area with the place of their first saint’s spiritual liberation. For the bon followers, Mt-Kailash is the soul of universe and assures perpetuity and protection for all the Tibetan people. Devotes and Buddhist Lamas are seen chanting and praying ceaselessly as most of them make the arduous circumambulation of Mt. Kailash & Lake Manasoravor (close-wise by Hindus and Buddhist and anti-clockwise by bon religion.

This extraordinary journey takes you to Tibet’s mythical Mt. Kailash & Lake Manasarovar through the hidden Humla valley of Nepal’s westernmost Tibetan frontier. Once we reach Mt. Kailash we will make the ‘Kora’ (holy-circuit) trek of the mountain, sharing the trail with many other pilgrims who head for Kailash during the summer months.

Mt. Kailash and Mansarovar trip is an excellent choice for those travelers who have limited time for a visit and still would like to see as much as possible in an 11-day itinerary. We drive you to Zangmu the border town, Pigu Tso, one of the beautiful lake of Tibet, Saga, Dongba, Paryang, Lake Manasarovar and all the way back to Kathmandu. The maximum elevation we cover during the trip is 5630m.
