Churen Himal Trek: |
|
The trek offers an opportunity to discover areas,
which remain practically, untouched and still
retain anIndividual lifestyle without being affected
by western influences. In Churen Himal you will
have a chance to trek into the mass of the Dhorpatan
hills at about 3000-4500m. This area is full of
rivers and fast glacial streams, lots of forest
and animals. Visit the base camp of Churen Himal
and follow the Pelma Khola down from its source
to the rich forests and rocky spires of Lower
Dolpa. A land myth and legend. In the settlement
of Dhorpatan we can see the Bon Monastery, Tibetan
Herbal Medicine School as well as friendly local
village.
