This is an easy, short trek that starts near Pokhara
and offers good mountain views. It’s an
excellent trek to do as it does not entail any
particular long walking days and there is always
plenty to see Nepalese village and the mountains.
As one is walking along the peaceful ranges with
terraced hills all around, you will see colorful
flora and fauna, beautiful landscape, eagles soaring
high above and good mountain views including Machhapuchhare
and Annapurna. Thus, one can feel higher that
royalty discovering oneself the natural height
of being alive.
This trek has gained its name the ”Royal
Trek” because Prince Charles of Britain
walked through it along with an entourage of 90
guests, camping followers and staff 1980s.
